Igwe Kenneth, popularly known by his stage name Akpors, MOG Akpors, or simply Akpors the Comedian, is one of Nigeria’s most vibrant and consistent comedy personalities.
A proud son of Delta State, Akpors has become a household name whose craft blends humor, everyday Nigerian life, and moral lessons that leave audiences laughing and thinking at the same time. He currently resides in Lagos, the entertainment capital of Africa, where he continues to grow his brand and touch lives through laughter.
Akpors’ journey into the world of comedy took flight in 2012 when Toy Boy Studio (TBS) contracted him to play the lead role in the hit weekly online comedy series “The Adventures of Akpors.” The show became an instant success and introduced his signature character — Akpors, a witty, mischievous, and relatable Nigerian everyman who finds humor even in the most ordinary situations. This role not only shot him into the spotlight but also laid the foundation for what would become one of the most enduring comedy personas in Nigeria.
