He also participated in the Opa Williams Comedy Challenge in 2010. In 2011, he became the winner of “Joker Takes It All” at City Mall Onikan Lagos, earning him the Amstel Malta Ambassador title while also winning the Amstel Malta Showtime comedy category held at Eko Hotel, Lagos.

The show featured industry giants including I Go Die, 2Baba, Wizkid, and Funke Akindele (Jennifer). In 2012, Toy Boy Studio (TBS) projected him even further by contracting him to play the major role in the weekly online series “The Adventures of Akpors.”

The Akpors character became the name that announced him to the global world. Today, Akpors is known internationally, has won numerous awards, and remains one of the most sought-after comedians at premium entertainment events.

M.O.G Akpors is also the in-house comedian for Ultima Studios for shows such as “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and “MTN Project Fame West Africa.” He serves as the yearly anchor of the “Teachers Are Great” conference by Educhild among several other shows.

He is currently the host and presenter of “Wetin Dey Happen Naija” as one of the “Sabi Boiz” on Galaxy Television, Lagos Nigeria. The comedy talk show runs Mondays to Fridays weekly.

He also hosts “Alimosho Laughs,” a monthly and yearly comedy concert at Lagos Theatre, Igando. M.O.G Akpors hails from Ezza North LGA in Ebonyi State Nigeria but has lived all his childhood and adult life in Alimosho Lagos. He has won multiple awards locally and internationally. His career started in church in 2005, and within four years, he evolved into a professional comedian.
